When you ask someone what their favorite song is, they usually say that it changes from week to week or even hour to hour. Well, I decided a few months ago to take the guesswork out of that answer. I wrote a quick little script for my computer to actually figure out what my favorite songs of the week are.

Below is the list of my Top 25 songs for this week, with some links to Youtube.

Thomas-Dolby-by-Arthur-MouratidisMy current favorite song is the Thomas Dolby classic, “The Flat Earth” from his album of the same name. I only recently heard this song for the first time and its lilting chorus and slightly tropical sound intrigued me. I listen to it every chance I get these days. One interesting footnote is that Thomas Dolby is an actual member of The Flat Earth Society.
