mark-weiss-utopia-1985Welcome to another week of Uncle Bing’s favorite tunes. This is one of those weeks that goes down in the record book of unusual charts. All five songs in the top five remain where they were last week. That doesn’t happen very often. Of course, that means that the LTD juggernaut rolls on in first place for the third week in a row. Will it stay on top another week?

Elsewhere in the top ten, songs by Larry Elgart and Dire Straits join the logjam at the top. We also have two new debut songs this week; my favorite Weird Al song “Dare to be Stupid” at #21 and “Shower the People” by James Taylor.

I’ll link some of the songs to their music video on youtube (be sure to check out the Utopia clip. It’s hilarious) and I’ll chat at ya next week.
