A wild ending to the Auto Club 400 resulted in a win for Kyle Busch and his Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 team. Busch skirted by as the battle between Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin resulted in both drivers hitting the wall.

Busch earned his second win of the weekend, he took the Nationwide victory as well, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. came in second. As of this publication, no news had come in about Hamlin who was slow to get out of his battered car and collapsed upon getting out. Reports are trickling in that the driver has “back pain”. Logano was released immediately from the medical center. The two drivers had a run in after the race in Bristol last weekend. The row seems to be continuing and will most likely reignite in Martinsville, the next race, in two weeks.

Tony Stewart took offense to Logano’s driving style and went to Logano with fists raised post-race. The scuffle was stopped by crewmen immediately, but tempers were still flaring when Stewart was interviewed after the incident. A tirade strewn with curse words that were bleeped on Fox’s post-race broadcast indicated that Stewart was less than thrilled with Logano’s driving style at the end of the race.
