The DTC panel welcomes filmmaker Michael Miles, director of the film Rapid Response, which debuts in theaters on September 6th. The film is based on the book by Dr. Steve Olvey and chronicles the story of improvements in medical care, driver protection and safety innovation in Indycar racing over the decades. Miles also discusses the NBC-TV special feature about the Indycar safety team, “Yellow, Yellow, Yellow” which he also directed and produced.
Additional topics include a brief rundown on the 2021 Indycar engine rules, the NASCAR race at Watkins Glen, and Formula 1 at Hungary.
