After a single day test at the World Wide Technology Raceway last week, Canadian Antonio Serravalle is set for his first Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires oval race this weekend. Racing out of the single car Pserra Racing program, Serravalle is hoping his test yields momentum into the double header race weekend.

“It was a great test for us and by far the most comfortable I have felt in a car on an oval ever,” explained Serravalle. “We made some pretty positive gains throughout the day and turned a ton of laps. A huge thank you to the crew for all of their hard work and efforts despite it being more than 115F with the heat index.”

Utilizing a new engineer in former Indy Lights Team Owner Mark Moore, Serravalle was quickly up to speed turning the seventh fastest lap time on the day. Not putting a wheel wrong all day long, the forward progress is exactly what was needed for the Indy Lights rookie.
Serravalle continued, “I am confident and can’t wait to get back on track later this week. I really think this could be our best opportunity all season long and I want to take advantage of it.”
With a pair of test sessions on Thursday, Friday will feature three sessions including one practice, qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel racing. Competing just prior to the NASCAR Truck program Friday evening, Saturday will see Serravalle take the green flag for race two just before the NTT INDYCAR SERIES race that night.
Antonio Serravalle would like to thank all of his partners for the help and support to get the 2021 season off the ground as without them, none of this would be possible. A huge thanks to LedgeMark Homes / livgreen, Tycoon Capital Limited, TriBrik, Camptech ll Circuits, Coshore, Ferrari & Associates, Scuderia Ferrari Club Canada, Med-Scan and Sabelt.
